Networking Opportunities
Our organization integrates networking opportunities throughout each event where members can connect with their peers within the club, amongst other universities, UCSB alumni, and career professionals. We have held mixers with Women in Business chapters across the world including Harvard, Duke, Brown, Oxford, Cornell, Cambridge, Vanderbilt, Columbia, Stanford, UC Merced, and UC Berkeley.
Member Enrichment Workshops
WIB ensures that our members are well-equipped for the business world through workshops focusing on professional skills such as resume building, networking, and how to utilize LinkedIn. Additionally, our club has attended conferences that include an array of speakers, workshops, panels, and networking opportunities. We have attended Harvard’s 18th Undergraduate Intercollegiate Business Conference and Cal Poly SLO’s 8th annual conference.
Member Bonding and Wellness
Community is the cornerstone of our club and we host a variety of events to get to know each other in a fun way. We’ve held events such as sunset yoga, ice cream and vision board socials, coffee chats, tote bag and flower pot painting, and finals study sessions.
